MANILA, Philippines — Scattered rains are expected to persist in large parts of the country on Tuesday due to the effect of the easterlies, the state weather bureau said.
In its morning forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the easterlies, or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, are forecast to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the following areas:
