MANILA — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) will deploy more than 1,000 police officers on Friday, September 12, in anticipation of a series of protest actions related to the alleged flood control anomaly.
Police Maj. Hazel Asilo, NCRPO spokesperson, said 1,250 personnel will be positioned in key protest areas such as Mendiola, and the offices of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the Senate, and the House of Representatives.
