By Contractor Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya, among the figures in the flood control scam controversy, has been brought to a hospital, his lawyer confirmed to ABS-CBN News on Thursday.
In a text message, Discaya’s lawyer Cornelio Samaniego III said: “Madami nararamdaman, sir. Almost 7 months na sya nakakulong.”
Senate President Vicente Sotto III confirmed that Discaya underwent MRI for frozen shoulder and that the hospital visit was short. He has since been returned to the Senate.
