MANILA, Philippines — Rain is expected to persist in parts of Luzon on Tuesday due to the low-pressure area (LPA) within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Right now, there is a small chance that this will become a tropical cyclone,” he said.
“But we can see that it still has cloud formations that will bring overcast skies with light rains, accompanied by lightning and thunder, over much of Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan), Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon), as well as the Bicol Region and parts of Central Luzon,” he added.
