As of 3 a.m., the LPA was tracked 330 kilometers west of Cuyo town, Palawan province, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) in its 4 a.m. bulletin.
The LPA has a slim chance of developing into a tropical cyclone but will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Western Visayas and the Mimaropa region, PAGASA said.
Caraga, Davao Region, Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, and Quezon province will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Batanes province and Babuyan Islands, meanwhile, will have cloudy skies with rains caused by the northeasterly windflow.
