By MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or “amihan”, easterlies, and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies in parts of the country on Sunday, the state weather bureau said.
According to the 5 a.m, weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the northeast monsoon will prevail in Northern and Central Luzon; easterlies in parts of Luzon and Visayas; and ITCZ in Palawan, and Mindanao.
(The huge portion of Northern Luzon, particularly in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and Metro Manila will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies. We will experience light rains due to the northeast monsoon.)
