By De La Salle University swept Far Eastern University, 25-17, 25-20, 25-22, to extend its winning streak to four in the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball tournament on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Shevana Laput had 22 points from 18 attacks, three blocks, and an ace to lead the Lady Spikers. Alleiah Malaluan and Angel Canino added 12 and 10 points, respectively, as the Taft-based squad improved to 5-2 to end its first round campaign.
