By Radio DJ and host Karen Bordador looked back on her imprisonment in 2016 over a drug-related case, saying she sees the experience as a season that God “planned.”
The “Pinoy Big Brother” alum, along with her former boyfriend Emilio Lim, was arrested and detained in 2016 over alleged involvement in illegal drug trade. The pair spent five years in detention before they were released in 2021 following their acquittal.
“Has it really been 10 years already?! Aug. 13, 2016 was the day my whole life turned upside down. I swear, I still remember it like it was yesterday,” she recalled in a Facebook post on Friday, Aug. 14, which included photos of her during her detainment.
