By MANILA, Philippines — Hot weather with cloudy skies are expected to prevail in most parts of the country on Saturday due to easterlies, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda said that the easterlies, or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, will bring humid weather with chances of isolated rain showers, thunder, and lightning.
Luzon, including Metro Manila, will still experience hot and humid weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. The same weather condition is expected to persist in Palawan, Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao.
