ILOILO CITY — Warm temperatures, isolated rain showers, and generally light to moderate winds are expected to prevail across much of the Visayas until May 8, according to the latest five-day regional outlook issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) Visayas unit.
Released at 9 a.m. on Monday, the forecast covering May 4 to 8 indicates daytime temperatures across key Visayas provinces ranging from 25°C to 35°C, with slightly cooler nights between 24°C and 31°C.
In Western Visayas, Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Antique, and Guimaras are expected to have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon or evening, with temperatures reaching 34°C to 35°C midweek.
