By LUCENA CITY — Two areas in the Calabarzon are expected to experience danger-level heat index levels on Sunday and Monday, April 26 and 27, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Based on Pagasa’s 5 p.m. monitoring on Saturday, Sangley Point in Cavite City is forecast to reach a heat index of 43°C on both days, Meanwhile, Barangay Ambulong in Tanauan City, Batangas, is expected to record heat index levels of 41°C on Sunday and 40°C on Monday.
