MANILA, Philippines – Rains are expected over several parts of the country as the southwest monsoon, habagat, continues to affect the Philippines, the state weather bureau said Sunday.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Tropical Storm Nari (international name), located 2,165 kilometers east northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon, remains outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has no direct effect on the country.
