By BANTAY, Ilocos Sur — A 56-year-old branch manager of a personal finance company was found dead early Tuesday morning at the western portion of Barangay Road in Cabaroan, which connects to Barangay Mira in this town.
Authorities said a concerned citizen reported the discovery at around 7 a.m. The witness, who was out jogging, found the victim’s body by the side of the road and immediately sought help.
An initial investigation showed that the victim, a resident of Barangay Naguilian in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, had multiple stab wounds to the nape and back.
