By Far Eastern University extended its winning streak to three after taking down Adamson University, 23-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-10 on Saturday in the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Gerz Petallo led the Lady Tamaraws with 16 points from 14 attacks and two aces, on top of 15 excellent receptions, while Jean Asis and Faida Bakanke added 14 and 13 points, respectively, as FEU improved to 4-2.
“Happy naman kami sa nakitang performance ng mga players. Nagbubunga na ‘yung from heartbreaking na talo sa UP. Paunti-unti nakakabalik so naipakita na nila ‘yung FEU Lady Tamaraws talaga,” said FEU assistant coach Manolo Refugia.
