By MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Justice (DOJ) has not received or reviewed any affidavit of recantation made by former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan District Engineer Henry Alcantara about his involvement in the flood control anomalies.
DOJ spokesman and prosecution attorney Polo Martinez made the statement on Saturday following a report that Alcantara filed a counter-affidavit, stating that he allegedly denied being involved in and getting kickbacks in flood control projects.
