By CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Anti-narcotics agents and local police arrested two construction workers and seized P374,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Canitoan here on Wednesday afternoon, May 20.
Authorities from the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO), operating alongside the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-10 (PDEA -10) and the City Mobile Force Company, conducted the sting operation at past 4 p.m.
The arrested suspects were identified by their aliases ‘Wardo,’ 32, a designated high-value individual (HVI), and his helper ‘Junel,’ 34. Both are residents of the said barangay.
