MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Luzon and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies and rains on Saturday (March 29) due to easterlies.
This is according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
During Pagasa’s 5 a.m. forecast, weather specialist Grace Castañeda said easterlies, or the winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, will prevail in the Eastern Visayas and Mindanao in the coming days.
She said the easterlies will result in scattered rains, lightning and thunders in Bicol, Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan) and Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon).
