By MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte on Tuesday that she does not support calls for the resignation of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. amidst the ongoing corruption scandal.
“Never ask him to resign. That is a pointless call. He will not resign. Did you see the father? How long did that [presidency] last? That was 20 years. Look at the DNA. He doesn’t want to leave the position,” Duterte said partly in Filipino at a press briefing in Zamboanga City.
