By MANILA, Philippines — Two of the Duterte family’s central figures, Vice President Sara Duterte and former President Rodrigo Duterte, were subjected to scrutiny on Wednesday, April 22, as both the impeachment proceedings and the crimes against humanity case before the International Criminal Court (ICC) moved forward.
At the House of Representatives’ committee on justice, allegations that Vice President Duterte has unexplained wealth and that she failed to fully disclose her assets in her Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) were discussed — with different offices appearing to submit documents.
