A 47-year-old security guard was arrested at Manila Police District (MPD) Delpan Station after his criminal record appeared in his application for a police clearance.
The suspect, identified as “Pat,” was apprehended on the spot by operatives under the leadership of Lt. Col. Marlon Mallorca, Commander of MPD Delpan Station.
The suspect, who works as a customs security guard and resides in Tondo, Manila, was obtaining a police clearance when the National Police Clearance program flagged an outstanding arrest warrant for “Acts of Lasciviousness.”
The warrant, issued by the Metropolitan Trial Court (Branch 20) on May 6, 2014, had been unresolved for years.
