By MANILA, Philippines — A father and a son on Wednesday surrendered over the killing of a man at a computer shop in Manila, Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso announced.
In his “Talk to the People” livestream, Moreno identified the suspects as Jeffrey, 49; and Jefferson Saludar, 25; and the victim as John John Bacolod, 46. The suspects and the victim were neighbors, In a security footage, the father and son were seen fatally stabbing Bacolod inside the computer shop in Tondo on Monday night, according to the Manila mayor.
Presented to the public during the livestream, Jeffrey claimed that he and his son had confronted Bacolod in the computer shop after the latter allegedly tried to stab Jefferson with a knife at a basketball court also in Tondo on Sunday.
