Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson and Detroit Pistons players Ron Holland II and Paul Reed were fined by the NBA on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) for their involvement in an on-court altercation during a recent game.
The incident occurred late in the third quarter of Utah’s 126-119 victory over Detroit on Thursday. With 1:37 remaining in the quarter, tensions flared, leading to technical fouls and ejections for Clarkson and Pistons forward Holland, while Reed was assessed a technical foul for his role in the scuffle.

Jordan Clarkson, an American of Filipino descent, has been averaging 15.1 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game for the Utah Jazz, who currently hold a 6-20 record and sit 14th in the Western Conference.
Ron Holland II, a 19-year-old rookie selected fifth overall in this year’s NBA Draft, is averaging 6.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Paul Reed contributes 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game for the Detroit Pistons, who are 11-17 and rank 11th in the Eastern Conference. (AFP)
