By LUCENA CITY — A 44-year-old street vendor was shot and killed by a motorcycle-riding gunman in Cabuyao City, Laguna, on Friday night.
In a report released Saturday, the Police Regional Office 4A said the victim, identified only as “Sammy,” was in a tricycle with his live-in partner prior to the incident in Barangay Banay-Banay at 7:50 p.m.
Police said two men aboard a motorcycle approached the tricycle, and one of the suspects repeatedly fired at the victim and sped off, The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to Cabuyao City Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
