By LUCENA CITY, Quezon — Police seized on Thursday, May 28, more than P522,000 worth of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) from an alleged “high value” trafficker in Santa Rosa City, Laguna province.
The Police Regional Office 4A reported on Friday that members of the city drug enforcement unit arrested at 7:25 p.m. an alias “Joel” after selling shabu worth P2,000 to a poseur buyer in Barangay Malitlit.
The law enforcers confiscated from the suspect four heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 76.8 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P522,240.
