MANILA, Philippines — The partial Senate blue ribbon committee report on the alleged anomalous flood control projects has yet to be sponsored in plenary as only seven of nine senators have signed so far, Senate President Pro Tempore Panfilo “Ping” Lacson said on Tuesday.
In his privilege speech, Lacson, who heads the blue ribbon panel, revealed that Sen. Raffy Tulfo recently signed the partial report, which needs nine signatures to be sponsored.
“Given the scale of the investigation and the details of the discussion, which, as you all know, was more than 400 pages, sans the annexes, each member has been afforded more than sufficient time to examine and scrutinize the full substance of the report,” Lacson detailed.
