By MANILA, Philippines — It seems the spat between Rep. Leandro Legarda Leviste and Executive Secretary Ralph Recto will not end soon, as both politicians from Batangas continue to feud on and off social media.
Leviste on Tuesday posted on his Facebook page several photos of Recto with CWS party-list Rep. Edwin Gardiola — first in an alleged dinner where Leviste was also present, and later on, photos featuring Gardiola and Recto along with other individuals like Recto’s wife, Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto.
“According to those who went to the Aug. 15, 2025, meeting of Gov. Vilma and Sec. Ralph Recto at the League of Municipalities in Batangas, it was Cong. Edwin Gardiola, who hosted the meeting at the Tagaytay Highlands, also shouldered raffle costs. I hope everyone gets a friend as generous as EG,” Leviste said in a post.
