By Sharon Cuneta praised Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo and President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. after the two’s recent meeting, which underscored their respect toward each other despite being former rivals.
Marcos earlier visited the former vice president’s hometown in Bicol for the new national flood control program “Oplan Kontra Baha” project, and for the turnover of the special allotment release order (SARO) amounting to P500 million for the rehabilitation of the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum.
“My President Mam Leni with OUR President, Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. Walang balimbingan o plastikan. Pagpapasalamat lamang sa sumusuporta sa kanyang mahal na lungsod at bayan,” Cuneta said on her Instagram page last Saturday, Feb. 21, sharing a screenshot of Robredo’s post thanking Marcos after their meeting.
