MANILA, Philippines — More than P6 million worth of high-grade marijuana, or “kush,” hidden in a rolled runner rug was seized by anti-narcotics operatives at the Port of Clark in Pampanga, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) said Wednesday.
According to the BOC in a statement, the drugs were seized from a shipment that came from California, USA, and was bound for San Mateo, Rizal, Declared as a “Polyester Rug Runner,” the BOC said the drugs were detected through irregular imaging revealed by an X-ray inspection.
