By MANILA, Philippines — The government has surpassed its target on job generation and poverty reduction in 2025, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said on Tuesday.
During a press briefing, Castro said the unemployment rate dropped to 4.7 percent last year, down from 10.3 percent in 2020, citing reports from the administration’s economic team during the 7th Economy and Development Council Meeting on Monday.
