MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or “habagat” is forecast to bring rains to the western part of the country on Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 5:00 a.m. bulletin, Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said the Mimaropa region (Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan) will experience cloudy skies and rain showers due to the habagat.
