MANILA, Philippines — Eight individuals were arrested over an alleged illegal mining operation in Camarines Norte, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday.
National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) operatives and the local police caught the individuals in a suspected gold ore miming site in Barangay Luklukan Sur in Jose Panganiban town on Wednesday afternoon, the PNP said in a statement.
