A 69-year-old woman died following a fire in Barangay Matandang Balara, Quezon City on Monday morning.
According to Allan Gatus’ report on Super Radyo dzBB, the lone casualty was initially reported missing.
However she was later found in the pile of debris following the fire that lasted for more than an hour.
Investigation showed that the victim decided to go back inside the burning house despite the clamor from her relatives.
A 40-year-old man was also injured from the incident after suffering second degree burns on his left shoulder.
