MANILA, Philippines — Two suspects were arrested while an estimated P5.4 million worth of shabu was seized on Tuesday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said.
The PDEA said the suspects—identified only by their aliases “Moammad” and “Maimana”—were arrested during an operation at the parking lot of a mall in Iligan City.
PDEA said eight transparent plastics containing 800 grams of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu were seized during the arrest, along with other drug paraphernalia, Meanwhile, the arrested suspects will face firmal complaints for Violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in relation to Section 26 (Conspiracy to Sell Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act No. 9165.
