*Two* Russians died while scuba diving in Verde Island, Batangas on Thursday, the Coast Guard Batangas said.
According to a report on GMA Integrated News’ Unang Balita on Friday, four Russians were scuba diving in a portion of Pulong Bato when a sudden strong current washed them away.
Two of the four were able to get out of the water. However, the two others went missing.
One of the missing Russian divers was found and brought to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
