By MANILA, Philippines — Two police officers, one from Manila and the other from Cebu, are under investigation for alleged abuse in separate cases, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Sunday, The police officer in Manila was accused of sexually assaulting a 27-year-old woman.
According to the PNP, the victim reported the Manila policeman to the Volunteers against Crime and Corruption, claiming that the officer had raped her, signs of which were confirmed by a medico-legal.
