*MANILA* – The shear line and the northeast monsoon, or amihan, will bring widespread rain across Luzon while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect parts of Visayas and Mindanao, the weather bureau said on Sunday.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the shear line, formed by the convergence of warm and cool air, will affect southern Luzon, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms with moderate to heavy, at times intense, rainfall over the Bicol Region, Quezon, and Aurora.
