MANILA, Philippines — A severe tropical storm may enter the country’s boundary by Sunday night, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its morning forecast, Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said Severe Tropical Storm Podul was last spotted 1,875 kilometers east of Extreme Northern Luzon around 3 a.m.
“In the latest track of tropical storm Podul, it is possible for it to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) tonight or early tomorrow morning,” Badrina reported.
