MANILA, Philippines — Work in the Senate will remain suspended on Wednesday, July 23 due to heavy rains triggered by the southwest monsoon or “habagat”.
In an advisory on Tuesday evening, Senate Secretary Atty. Renato Bantug Jr.relayed Senate President Francis Escudero’s instruction.
At present, the state weather bureau is monitoring Tropical DepressionDante, a low pressure area inside the Philippine area of responsibility east-southeast of Batanes and another LPA outside the country’s boundary 2,705 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.
