In commemoration of the 2025 Spring Festival, commonly known as Chinese New Year, Vice President Sara Duterte called on the public Wednesday to nurture compassion and bayanihan in rediscovering the heritage that has “long defined our mutual ties of friendship and cooperation.”
In a video message, Duterte said that the Chinese New Year not only honors rich traditions, but also highlights “the strong bonds of collaboration that enrich our heritage.”
“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us embrace the spirit of generosity and harmony that defines this season,” the Vice President said.
“Let us march ahead with renewed vigor and determination to ring in 2025 with hope and optimism. We join all communities in celebrating the efforts that brought good fortune and growth in our shared pursuit of a resilient and prosperous future,” she added.
