MANILA – The camp of former Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez on Thursday urged personalities linked to Peanut Gallery Media Network (PGMN) to answer the charges against them before the court.
Speaking to reporters after the hearing, Romualdez’s lawyer, Elaine Atienza, stressed that their camp has deliberately refrained from discussing the case’s details publicly out of respect to the judicial proceedings.
“Sa ngayon (For now) we cannot speak of the details of the case, along with the other evidence kasi (because) it’s already (the) subject of ongoing proceedings,” “But what we can say right now is that we are confident in the strength of our case and our evidence, and the court is the proper forum where we can test this evidence,”
