By MANILA, Philippines — Overcast skies and rain are expected in Palawan and Mindanao on Wednesday due to the trough or extension of the low-pressure area (LPA) and intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the state weather bureau said.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (Pagasa) 5 a.m. weather forecast, the LPA monitored inside the Philippine area of responsibility was spotted 805 kilometers east of Southern Mindanao as of 3 a.m.
