*MANILA*, Philippines — Metro Manila and 23 other areas across the country will see overcast skies and rains on Wednesday due to the easterlies and the northeast monsoon, or amihan.
In a morning weather update, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Benison Estareja said eight Luzon areas will see cloudy skies and rains due to the northeast monsoon or the cold winds coming from mainland Asia.
