By MANILA, Philippines — Dawn Macandili-Catindig has fortified the floor defense of Choco Mucho, teaming up with four-time Best Libero Thang Ponce ahead of the new Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season.
The Flying Titans on Wednesday morning welcomed Catindig and spiker Jewel Encarnacion, who came from the defunct Cignal Super Spikers.
The ace libero was part of Alas Pilipinas’ solid run in the past two years, with four bronze medals in the SEA V.League and a silver medal finish in last year’s AVC Women’s Cup. She’s also a three-peat champion in the UAAP and a Finals MVP for La Salle.
