By MANILA, Philippines—NLEX Road Warriors coach Jong Uichico knows clinching the top seed in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup came at a cost.
After NLEX capped its elimination round campaign with a 123-112 overtime win over Titan Ultra Giant Risers, Uichico said the Road Warriors will prioritize recovery before shifting their focus to the quarterfinals.
“We’ll have time to rest. Berto (Bolick) and Cady (Lalanne) played so much so it’s time to rest but we’ll go back to work as soon as possible,” he said at Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Tuesday.
