Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro on Sunday slammed those who were spreading “fake news” about a recently uploaded photo of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, saying that they should present evidence that will prove whether it was edited or not.
In a statement to Palace reporters, Castro was referring to a photo posted on the official Facebook page of the First Lady on Saturday, March 22, with the caption: “Regular meeting of the Asian Cultural Council; Pangarap Clubhouse, Malacañang Park, Manila | 21 March 2025.”
In the photo, Liza Marcos was seen wearing a blue dress in a dining area with her guests.
Some netizens, however, claimed the photo was supposedly edited.
