By MANILA, Philippines — Cool weather, cloudy skies, and rain will occur Saturday, Jan. 11, in certain portions of the country due to the effects of three weather systems, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In an early Saturday morning bulletin, the state weather agency said the northeast monsoon, locally termed amihan, would make the weather cold and cause overcast skies with rains in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon.
The northeast monsoon was also forecast to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies and possibly isolated rain showers to Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon.
