By MANILA, Philippines — The trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) and the southwest monsoon, or habagat, are expected to bring rain showers across the country on Thursday, the state weather bureau said.
In its 5:00 a.m. update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the trough of the LPA, last spotted 435 kilometers west of Sangley Point, Cavite, is expected to bring cloudy skies and a high chance of rain over the following areas:
