Cebu will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Monday, June 29, due to a low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
As of 3 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) located the LPA about 495 kilometers east of Surigao City in Surigao del Norte.
In Cebu, the bureau warned that light-to-moderate rainfall could raise water levels in the Cotcot, Mananga, Guinabasan, Balamban, and Sapangdaku rivers, increasing the risk of flooding.
