By MANILA, Philippines — The low pressure area (LPA) located east of the country has entered the Philippine area of responsibility (LPA) and is forecast to strengthen into a tropical depression within 24 hours.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the LPA was last spotted 1,096 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon.
