MANILA — The tropical depression outside of the Philippine area of responsibility was located 1,375 km east of northeastern Mindanao at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
It packs winds of 45 kph with gustiness up to 55 kph. It is moving west northwestward at 15 kph.
The disturbance will enter the PAR on Sunday, November 2, as a tropical storm and will be named “Tino.”
It may make landfall over Caraga or Eastern Visayas as a typhoon between late Monday and early Tuesday.
Wind signals may be raised over Eastern Visayas and Caraga from Sunday morning or afternoon, with signal no. 4 as the highest possible wind warning.
